Guy Van Meulebrouck, PE

Senior Mechanical Engineer

 

Guy Van Meulebrouck, formerly of KPI Engineering, Inc., has over 20 years experience in the mechanical engineering industry and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering from University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado (1984).

Guy has consulted for mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial type projects since 1984. His education includes relevant coursework in acoustics, solar engineering, cost estimating, structural design, architecture, and lighting design. This education was rounded off with actual field experience installing plumbing, radiant floor heating systems, and solar heating systems as well as practical experience from a client standpoint serving as President of Board of Directors for a 250-unit condominium complex during a $1.5 million programmed maintenance project.

His practice encompasses design, field work, energy studies, LEEDs, Energy Star ratings, life cycle costs, cost estimating, troubleshooting, feasibility studies, planned maintenance studies, building science forensic work, building moisture problems, design build, prime consultant, studies, and code review.
